Purpose: PC augmentation/Boss Enemy
Nature: Depends on user, though mentally and behaviorally unstable
Description/History: A large, bipedal war machine with heavy, armored segments. It has two massive arms, with multiple weapons configurations. Its mechanical frame is rife with mutated, organic flesh and muscle, with eyes, mouths, and tentacles sprouting here and there.

* Lasher Tendrils: Mechanical, claw-tipped tentacles that lash out and slash, stab, and tangle enemies. MELEE attack capable of attacking multiple enemies. -1 AGILITY to successfully hit enemies.

* Twin-Lascannon: A double-barreled laser cannon capable of rendering even the most heavily armored tank little more than a smoldering hull. +3 RANGED against vehicles.
* Plasma Cannon: A large plasma-hurling cannon capable of devastating nearly any enemy, armored or not. +4 RANGED, on a critical failure, the weapon overheats, dealing 1d5 PHEALTH damage to the Hellbrute chassis.

Engagement Style: Hellbrutes lash out at anything in range with monstrous claws and smashing fists, stomping and roaring in rage.

At range, Hellbrutes unleash volleys of high-caliber ammunition with contempt and hate, while they close in for bloody melee.
