Position: Anti-Thaum Manhunter

Demeanor: William seems to be a fairly well adjusted, well spoken, cheerful member of society, only he's covered in strange symbols.

Nature: William is the definition of an existential crisis. Deep down, he wonders if this is all life can be, whether he's made the right decisions, and whether there's any real point to doing all this SCP business. Most of the time he's just resigned himself to living in the moments that matter, but can you ever really beat the spectre of boredom?

Description: Standing at a humble 5'8, William is korean-caucasian, having picked up the Asian genes from his mother's side. Being a foundation special forces agent, his body is lean and slightly muscled from years of training. covering the length of his torso is a series of intricate geometric symbols that are the trollhide tattoos the foundation applied.

  • Social Cohesion Procedure: 2. First Lesson of modern foundation operative training is the impersonation. William is gains a +2 bonus in Persuasion, Bluff and Intimidation when attempting to impersonate an officer of the law. Can only be used in situations where an officer of the law would realistically be found (FBI,CIA,State Trooper,Police officer,Army Officer,ETC.)
  • Manhunter: 2. A retrieval agent, William is specialized in the capture and containment of anomalous subjects. William gains +1 bonus speed while in the pursuit of a target. In addition, William may ignore the first athletics/acrobatic roll presented in a chase.
  • Troll-hide: 4. The evolution of the wards of protection tattooed on S-Section Commandos, The troll-hide tattoo represents the next generation of anti-thaum protection. Having distilled the religious iconography into mathematical components, the Troll-hide takes the form of a full torso geometric tattoo. William gains +1 to resilience and antipsychic, as well as -2 damage dealt to him when defending against a thaumatic effects. In addition, he may use the wards in addition to his perception when in the presence of residual magical energy.

Personal History:

Born 1952 to George and Kim Morrison in London, William had a rather normal life. He ended up enlisting when the time came, choosing to continue his career in the military. One thing led to another and soon William ended up in the SAS, then under the employ of the foundation following their recruitment plan. Given his experience in special forces and relatively good track record, it was no surprise he would be chosen as a member of T-Section. The successors to the British Special Operations Executive branch S-Section, the program having been since privatized by the foundation in the years since. Trained in the retrieval of anomalous persons of interest, the Foundation is currently testing the use of a single specialised retrieval operative rather than a full platoon in a mobile task force.

VERITAS: An improvement on 1950s Foundation tech, this VERITAS is more powerful than predecessors but also in the form of a hand-held counter rather than a head-mounted display. Can give readings of background levels of thaumic radiation (which, sadly, only covers a certain subsection of anomalies) and tell you if an EVE-manipulator is a reality warper, thaumaturge, or neither given a biological sample.
