Demeanor: Welkin is a mostly outgoing and friendly person, if sometimes a bit condescending, accidentally or on purpose. He's fairly social, making small talk with fellow workers commonly.

Nature: Welkin is as chipper as he appears, though he's got some pride issues, and he knows and dislikes it. Welkin prefers being in a colleague rich environment where he knows and gets along with his fellow workers.

Description: Welkin is a well defined man with a slightly larger than average nose. He's got lean muscle from years of practice and physical conditioning. Welkin can be identified by his 5'08 stature, brown hair, reddish brown eyes, and paler than average appearance.

  • Stop Right there Criminal Scum!: 4. Welkin has been dealt with so many would be assailants trying to stab, bash, or otherwise harm him with melee. Unfortunately for them, police get something called martial training. +4 melee against enemies also using melee combat in a one on one situation.
  • Counter attack: 2. When the the one you're trying to catch makes a mistake, you must learn to capitalize on it. If Welkith's damage avoidance attempt is 5 points greater than the enemy's attack attempt, he can immediately attack them with his base melee without wasting his turn (no bonus from specs or light weaponry)
  • Block: 2. Sometimes instead of dodging, you must block or counter with your own melee. When focusing on one enemy that's attacking Welkin with melee, he can avoid their attacks with melee instead of acrobatics or resilience. Focus cannot be changed until said enemy is out of the fight.

Personal History:

Welkin was born on October 21st, 1953 somewhere in France to a British Father and a French Mother. His education and childhood was normal, if a bit estranged due to him being related to a foreigner. He did well in the sports section of school and physical education. After finishing school, Wellin realized he didn't really learn or remember anything he could use, so he decided to try something that didn't really require too much education and capitalized on his strong suits, a job in the French law enforcement.
He did well in basic physical training, though the educational portion was lacking. Welkin was placed on jobs to infiltrate locations where wanted criminals may br located due to his ability to subdue and move silently. During one job, they broke into a seemingly abandoned house that nobody would buy. It seemed as if there was nobody there, until he entered a certain bedroom. Then what happened next was a blur. There were bullets firing, a roar of something in a nearby room, and the scent blood everywhere, before a deathly silence set. Welkin tried to order a retreat out of the room and to the door, only for the monstrosity to break into the room, blocking the only entrance. He organized the men into a combat formation and organized an ambush. After a swift and bloody fight, the monster lay dead with all officers in the room injuried but alive.
Word reached the foundation about the incident through their contacts in the police force. They arrived to dispense a false cover story about what happened, and since Welkin was the one who arranged the ambush that took down the beast, decided that rather than to amnesticize Welkin, to give him the option to forget what happened or work for them. He decided he didn't want to forget what killed his squad mates as it would disrespect their memory, so he accepted the job amd eventually worked to the position of field agent.
