Personal History:

Born and raised with his father in New York during a very tenuous time in the world, Simon was raised in a rather sheltered environment. His mother was only alive for a brief time in his childhood, up until he was 7. She had taught him to play the piano, and read to him daily, creating a love in Simon for both activities. His father had always thought of him as too sensitive, and urged him to the police academy instead of a regular academy like he had intended. Following his fathers footsteps and eventually earning the rank of detective, his moment of pride only lasted fleetingly, as mere days later his sister was found raped and murdered at their shared apartment.

To add insult to injury, his father died as a result of a heart attack from the news. As a broken man normally would, he threw himself into his work in order to forget about it. As a result, he became a damn fine detective, solving previously "unsolvable" case and plowing though cases at an unprecedented rate. Of course, during this time they were also coming in at an unprecedented rate.

After noticing a report missing that was previously there, Simon dug deeper, having read over ever case file available at least twice. Noticing more and more missing files, he eventually found a lead to a foundation agent, who simply grinned when question about the whereabouts of the files, replying "I think you've passed."

  • An obsession with ducks, citing them as "The cutest thing possible"
  • No family, at least not any immediate family.
