Personal History:

Born April 1st 1920 to an impoverished family in Berlin, at a very young age Ryker demonstrated advanced skills of manipulation leading the local children from the shadows. Through stealing, lying and other crimes Ryker paid his way through school using his gangs influence in the destabilized Wiemar Republic's capital.

As conflict began to grow between the the weakened republic and the nationalists and socialist uprisings Ryker saw an opportunity. Raised off the stories of Germany's past glory Ryker found himself drawn to the nationalists, while at odds with many of their beliefs he believed that if any group would rebuild Germany it would be them.

Leading his gang to join them Ryker followed them as they eventually became The Third Reich. Having distinguished himself and his group they where invited to become soldiers. Leading his group by example he excelled at every test shining especially well on espionage and silent take downs. Upon graduation Ryker was promoted to Captain of the new unit which was comprised mostly of his old followers and friends.

Upon the breakout of the war Rykers unit followed the blitz through Poland assured of Germany's superiority his troops fought valiantly through the campaign. Capturing many without a single shot being fired his troops under their captains orders treated their captives kindly often sparing food to ensure the health of those who surrendered.

As the war grew in size so to did German ambition and Ryker's unit was sent to Egypt to protect interests in the area.

Stationed in a small research station his unit did little besides patrol the station and the surrounding desert finding nothing beyond the occasional lizard and extremely lost camel driver. Ryker understood little of what the researchers where doing beyond the fact that he needed to enforce extremely stringent rules as before his arrival the previous research team had been slaughtered to the man.

Ryker kept a number of journals recording the happenings of the station from the arrival of supplies to the experiments the scientists ran and the artifacts brought in. Upon the arrival of a new creature it escaped from its transport killing a number of his men and giving him the scar on his cheek before being taken down by the other men in a hail of gunfire.

In 1942 while on patrol in the desert an artifact in the facility detonated with an extremely large and powerful blast vaporizing the surrounding station and all its inhabitants. The explosion threw tons of sand into the sky and the surrounding desert was turned into glass only leaving the artifact which was quickly buried by the sand storm it had created.

Fortunately for Ryker he was beyond the blast and had always carried everything he needed in case something ever happened. Unfortunately for him the explosion attracted the attention of the invading allied forces which stumbled upon his patrol. Realizing he was outgunned and out manned he surrendered and sat out the rest of the war in a pow camp in the uk.

Upon the end of the war Ryker returned to the split Germany and began scouring the remaining nazi documents in a hope for some answers as to what happened at the old base. Instead he uncovered a number of other bases scattered through out old German territory and only got more questions rather than answers.

His searches lead him back to Egypt where he became in contact with Foundation Agents and upon hearing his story and experiences offered him a job.
