Rubicon Ford was born and raised in Pennsylvania. His father was a moderately successful businessman who dedicated the family savings to putting his only son through university. All of his teachers praised Rubicon's quick mind. Rubicon graduated with a degree in physics at the age of 23 in 1941, and showed promise in his field. Married his wife in 1942. However, he was drafted in 1943.
During World War 2, Rubicon Ford served in the United States Army. In this time, he was involved with the Battle of Caen, Operation Market Garden, and the Invasion of Normandy. There were a few transfers between units during the war, due to death and disease. Fought until Victory In Europe Day - May 8, 1945.
Now 27 years old, Rubicon Ford bounced from job to job after the war. When the United Nations endorsed the Global Occult Coalition, Rubicon joined the GOC. After seeing his comrades torn apart by some of the anomalies utilized by Germany during the war, Rubicon grew staunchly anti-anomaly. His job during this time was as a guard for GOC sites, occasionally serving as an 'information extractor'. His wife died in 1947 due to a work related incident his bosses hushed up and he doesn't like to talk about. In this same incident, he lost his right leg below the knee.
After witnessing the wanton disregard for human life by the GOC, Rubicon went to the Foundation and applied for a job there. Initially, he was turned down. However, he re-applied for a researcher position rather than a guard position, and was given the rank of Junior Researcher. This happened in 1951.
For five years, Rubicon Ford has worked for the Foundation and was recently transferred to Site 19.
Has time appropriate beliefs regarding gender roles and sexuality.
