Demeanor: Rigel is a quiet man by all accounts. More of a bookworm than anything else, he keeps to himself and generally avoids (socially) rough situations. By no means intentionally rude or antisocial- he will say hello or wave to you if you try to converse with him! Just don't expect him to stay in the same room as an argument.

Nature: Curious and studious- Rigel is a man of science! He's dead set on uncovering the mysteries of- well- anything you give him access to. He's not particularly picky, or easy to anger. He's hard to annoy too. There's no time for fights and pissing matches with this man- he genuinely cannot see the point.

Description: Rigel stands at 5'4" with a runners build. He has icy blue eyes with a short, semi-floofy mess of brown hair on his head. Drawn to simple tee-shirts and jeans, Rigel won't touch formal clothing if you bribed him to wear it. His right eye is false. It is an artifact he uses to keep from staticing in-and-out of view due to his instability.

  • Puzzling Foresight:** 2. It's ingrained into Rigel's mind that patterns are everywhere, no matter where you are. Even in the most nonsensical of codes and situations, there is always something there. Everything has a common thread, everything.
    • +2 to Logic when decyphering/identifying patterns… be they complex or simple.
  • Edited Instability (Anomalous): 4. As of a critical lab accident during his time at the GOC, Rigel doesn't have the same existential stability as his peers. While this is mostly an absolutely horrible thing that makes him worry for his own existence on a regular basis, it does have an "upside," if it could be called such.
    • Rigel has what is known as an instability counter, ranging from -5 to 0, which starts at 0. Rigel may add points to ONLY HIS rolls (*Healing/*Aim/*Speed/*Intelligence), but each point added counts towards his instability counter. If Rigel reaches -5, he takes 1d3+3 PH damage per point at and beyond that threshold. He gains a point back every day at noon, similar to how health regenerates.
      • Due to Rigel's instability, he cannot go into a death clock. If he hits 0 PHP, he will lose cohesion and disappear.
      • Due to the nature of Rigel's instability- SRA's and other methods of suppressing anomalies have a different effect. In the presence of these objects/forces/ect, Rigel will be unable to utilize his anomaly… However, he will be able to go into a death clock as a normal PC would be able to. If the source of suppression is shut down or disabled while he is in death clock- he will remain in death clock. From here, death clock will function normally.

Personal History:

Born to loving parents in 1951, Rigel grew up in a cozy town in Northern Ohio. His childhood was fairly unremarkable, sans that his parents never managed to get him to properly socialize with his peers.
