Quincy Sage

Basic Info:

Player: Recursive Recursion

Position: Researcher/Detective

Demeanor: Quincy ('Q') is typically cold, and extremely suspicious of anyone he has not encountered, and still suspicious of those he has. He will often joke around in a deadpan fashion. These jokes are often hard to distinguish from that which he honestly believes is some sort of conspiracy.

Nature: Quincy is a conspiracy theorist, and believes that, some way or another, every event is connected by some sinister force, with anomalous items being their modus operandi. He will often spend extended periods of time in his room researching this conspiracy. He is suspicious of everyone, even himself (now that he knows that mind-affecting artifacts and people exist). He is extremely observant, and will often memorize preferences and tastes of people he takes an interest in.

Description: Quincy is roughly 180 cm tall, and is estimated to be in his mid thirties. He has unkempt red hair, and blue eyes, and is in good physical condition, if a bit malnourished. He typically dresses in 'whatever he pulls out of the drawer first', though it is always sure to have numerous pockets, and willl occasionally don a fedora or porkpie hat.

Personal History:

The man who would become Quincy Sage woke up near the Hudson river in New York city sometime in January, 1943. He has no memory of who or where he was before then, though he suspects that he was affected by his own anomaly. Research on who exactly he is is ongoing, and the only current clues are a handful of pictures found at a Police Station in Montreal, reports of a man matching his description frequenting a bar near Wiltshire, England, and a report of a several men, -one of whom matched Quincy's description- who frequently caused fights 'using their minds' in a small town in Arizona. All of these reports stop on Dec. 3, 1942, which was a few days before Agent Sage was found. Agent Sage is reluctant to give details on his personal life, but he has stated that he spent the next few years attempting to research who he was. Not having awareness of his own mental affects, he became paranoid, and began researching, stealing numerous files on government programs and worldwide events, leading him to form his conspiracy theories. He first came to the attention of the Foundation when he was arrested by the New York City Police Department for possession of several stolen files and items (some of which regarded the Foundation and a small number of GOI). His anomalous properties were quickly noted, and the Foundation was contacted. After extensive interviews, he was recruited to Psi-7. In return, he requested resources to help him find out his true identity.

Miscellaneous:

He has a tattoo of the letter Q and S on his left arm, which led him to take the name of 'Quincy Sage'.
In light of incident 19-35A, he has been asked to refrain from going through agents' room and trash.
Looking into his eyes can render someone susceptible to his anomalous effects, even if he's actively suppressing them.
