Place Holder

Basic Info:

Player: Scantron

Position: Sniper

Demeanor: Holder doesn't really do social niceties and subtleties, jokes, or physical contact; as such, he often comes off as rude or slow on the uptake. While he displays a full range of emotions, all have an obvious analytical bent — it's clear that he's mentally working his way through any task and staying alert to the circumstances. He has a tendency to under-explain himself, as though his point of view is self-evident.

Nature: Holder takes things seriously as a rule, including himself, in hopes that others will follow his example so they can meet as equals. He figures that there will be no expectation that he will be treated well if he doesn't stand up for himself and what he believes in.

Description: 6'0" white man, kind of skinny, platinum blond hair and gray eyes. Seems to have maybe two outfits; it's not clear whether he has many copies of each item of clothing or whether he just washes them frequently.

Specialty Skills:

You have twelve points to distribute among as many or as few specialty skills as you see fit (but at least three is almost always warranted). Remember to explain what each specialty entails.

  • Sniping: 5. The art and science of using firearms to take out targets from exceptionally long distances while avoiding detection. Entails the identification of places to hide, the aiming and shooting itself, and the estimations and observation necessary to remain accurate over very long distances. Cannot apply to relatively short distances, inappropriate weapons, or short timeframes.
  • Mathematics: 4. Performing advanced mathematics and applying it to real-world situations. Might require a slide rule or similar instrument, even with high rolls, in situations where a human cannot realistically memorize or compute the necessary information in their head.
  • Airplanes: 3. Holder has memorizes a shitload of informatiob about airplanes. He specializes in the identification of various airplanes by their size and shape, markings, manner of flight. He also knows about their capabilities, affiliations, typical patterns of deployment, and typical territory. He has a theoretical understanding of how to actually fly some general types of planes, in the sense that he's read manuals on the topic, but he has not actually flown a plane before.
