Personal History:

Left at the doorstep of the Sunrise Orphanage in late 1922, Shimano was really only ushered around by the older children until the age of fifteen, when a friend of his offered him a way out of the monotony of orphan life. Couple that with his love of jidaigeki movies and wanderlust and you'll have a boy starting out enforcing for the Yakuza. Besides, who wouldn't want to be the guy wielding a katana while dodging bullets and cutting down a gang of bad Yakuza with guns?

He started as a member of the Saito Clan in 1938. Even though life as a Yakuza didn't start as glamorous as he thought, it did barely manage to pluck him out of military service (despite his protests). Often times, he did visit warzones in China to recover antiquities and other valuables, such as anomalies. This put him right in the sights of the Foundation. After a fateful encounter by agents working off a lead, he and his sworn brother were taken into custody in 1953. After release and training, they were placed in MTF Beta-6 and a small processing error had delayed Shimano from joining Agent Lee in Psi-7.
