Specialty Skills:

You have twelve points to distribute among as many or as few specialty skills as you see fit (but at least three is almost always warranted). Remember to explain what each specialty entails.

  • Bootlegging It 4. During the prohibition period, Lloyd did a surprising amount of running from potential threats, mainly rival bootleggers and officers of the law. During times when the tough need to get going, Lloyd will be doing his best to haul his wrinkly old self out of harms way.
  • Smuggler's Tongue: 4. Lloyd's had to do a lot of truth-twisting in the past in order to make out with a decent living. While an honest man for the most part now, he still finds that he can bullshit his way out of a sticky situation if he truly needs to.
  • Moonshine and Elbowgrease: 4. Living an impoverished life for the most part, Lloyd has learned of certain effective (if not a tad unorthodox) methods of which to do his job. If something can't be fixed the standard way, Lloyd will do his best to come up with a way to make something function out of whatever's at hand.

Personal History:

Born to an expansive family in rural Oklahoma in 1903, Lloyd lived the fairly hardworking yet fulfilling life of a farmer's son for a fair chunk of his life. This was all fine and well, but this lifestyle unfortunately came to pass as the family farm took a massive financial casualty, leading to the near loss of their livestock and their livelihoods. With the farm on its last legs, Lloyd and a few other family members joined up with local bootleggers from the area in an attempt to stabilize the Hutt fiscal situation. Much to his surprise, Lloyd found that he enjoyed rum-running far more than milking cattle or tending to barley fields, which led to Lloyd working alongside his new-found partners in Kansas until approximately 1929, at which point he returned to Oklahoma to tend to the old farm. Lloyd helped resuscitate the land, only to watch it wither and die as the Dust Bowl set in, leaving the land barren and his pockets empty. Determined to scratch out a living, Lloyd traveled east in search of temporary employment, eventually settling down in Southern Missouri as an automotive mechanic. Lloyd was picked up by the Foundation during a recruitment drive shortly after the war. He now occupies Site 19, attempting to repair the plethora of broken items the Foundation has to offer on what is essentially a daily basis.
