Juan (Horizons)

Disclaimer: Not an actual PC, just making this sheet to try something out.

Position: Thaumalogic Medic

Demeanor: What impression your character gives at first glance

Nature: What your character is actually like as people get to know them. What are their goals, ideals, and flaws.

Description: Juan still looks the same as before, only less portly as he's been working to lose that weight. He hasn't aged in 30 years due to the medical thaumatic energies he's been working with.


Characters have - (not an actual PC and over 30 years of experience prior) points to spend. It costs one point to buy a rank in a stat, or to be trained in a skill. Trained skills are indicated with bold.

You have eight points to distribute among as many or as few specialty skills as you see fit (but at least three is almost always warranted). Remember to explain what each specialty entails.

  • Hold 'em down: 2. Thirty Years hasn't decreased Juan's throw his weight around one bit. +2 to athletics when grappling/throwing someone.
  • Medical Thaumage: 3. Mechanics to be thought of at a later time.
  • Get behind me patient!: 2. Believe it or not Juan is still having troubles not being a meat shield for his team. +2 resilience when taking a hit for someone Juan's healed in the run/event.
  • Body Shield: 1. Juan's got some good armor on him, enchanted as well to allow him to take hits most others would have to dodge or die (or get seriously maimed). Three times per run/event, Juan can use resilience as DR, but only against things such as explosives, heavy weapons, insta kill effects like an airplane carrier being dropped on him, etc.

Personal History:

Since the events of origins, Juantonio Ivinski has still been working at the Foundation, going to apprentice under a thaumage. Over the course of years, he's figured out how to work incantations, magic, thaum batteries, etc. He's mostly used this to better himself as a medic, helping to heal wounds even professional doctors couldn't handle.
