Jonas Philip Cohen was born to █████ and ███████ Cohen of ██████, Germany on November 8th, 1927. The Cohen family lived in Germany until December of 1930, when they fled to ███████, Czechoslovakia in order to escape the escalating violence in ██████ at the time. During the German annexation, the Cohen parents were executed in their home after being reported to the SS by an anonymous tip. Jonas survived by pure chance, having not been spotted in the home's basement. After blending in with stranger after stranger, the young Jonas left to strike out on his own in 1943- he became involved in a local street gang, working primarily as a petty thief, stealing from Soviet soldiers in the area.
Records show that in July of 1953, Jonas was arrested on the grounds of petty thievery and assault of an officer. After escaping the prison in the autumn of 1955, Jonas spent the following months on the run, eventually making his way to France. It was there that he was caught up in the raid of the Herman-Fuller Circus, where he later talked his way into the Foundation ranks.
As of 1956, Agent Cohen has been working with the Foundation's Intelligence branch as a trainee. Upon his promotion in January of '58, he was transferred to Site-77, where he now resides as an attachment to Psi-7.
