Specialties
  • Gee Whiz Technocrat: Rank: 4. Jay has been a part of technology since the days of the Altair, so most of the mainframe and personal computers being used in the world today are easily familiar to her. When attempting to utilize computer systems or digital devices which are unfamiliar to her, Jay always has an edge.
  • Just Part of the Background: Rank: 2 Whether she’s in a meeting, or working in a laboratory or computer lab, Jay often is overlooked and she prefers it that way. Over the years, she’s mastered the art of not being seen. Fading into the background doesn’t preclude being seen by machines, or the trained eye. Can’t fade into the background from special agents.
  • Science Is Real: Rank: 2 A lot of eggheads can feel left out in the organizations they work at. Jay has dealt with a lot of lonely men in her time and she knows how to comfort them and ease out information. Gets a bonus to speech attempting to converse with scientists in their own terms and get them to spill some beans.

Gear:

Seiko UC-2100 Wrist Computer, Police Baton, Charter Arms Bulldog Revolver, body sport padding, slipper shoes worn inside boots, headband, close-fitting cotton lab uniform.

Possessions:

Apple IIe personal computer, full set of laboratory coats, turtlenecks and cotton pants, about a million slippers, coffee maker, filing cabinets filled with software, records, and more manuals than you can count. Also a coffee mug with a picture of South Korea on it and a map of Seoul on her wall.

Personal History:

Jay was born into a South Korea not that much different than North Korea, a struggling dictatorship toiling away under the watchful eye of a superpower. Working in an electronics factory from a young age, she quickly displayed a knack for all things electronic. Her parents scraped together money to send her to trade school, in which she excelled at. Obtaining a scholarship to an American university, she came into contact with SCP-633. In the ensuing Foundation cleanup operation, Jay was evaluated and offered a position as a computer scientist, which she accepted.
