Basic Info:
Player: bluesoul
Position: Hired hand by the Foundation, he does heavy lifting, repairs things as needed, and occasionally recontains things that can be contained by sheer muscle power.
Demeanor: Something of a loudmouth, he can appear brash and a bit too quick to rely on his muscles to solve a problem.
Nature: While the above isn't too far off, he hasn't lived this long by being foolhardy. He will defer to others if he feels they're better equipped to deal with a problem. He will try and make friends, though his boisterous nature may cause the opposite at times.
Description: A six-foot tall, barrel-chested wall of a man, clean-shaven with dark hair and brown eyes. Shakes your hand a bit too firmly. A bit slow to get the punchline, but his laughs seem to shake the walls. Speaks with a higher pitch than you'd think by looking at him.

Personal History:
J.R. Ballard Jr. was born in Dearborn, Michigan in 1922, the son of an engineer and a bookkeeper. He inherited his father's love for tinkering, and his mother's love for petty theft. He parlayed his mother's knowledge of manipulating money with his natural bulk and strength, and was a mildly successful boxer along the eastern seaboard. Cutting inside deals with sports bookies, he was a rich man for a couple of years. One thing led to another, though, and by the ripe old age of 27, J.R. was on the run from the law. On a fateful day in 1953, J.R. happened onto a derelict old building and met The Administrator, who offered him a job as a hired hand after showing a basic knowledge of welding.
Miscellaneous:
Call him J.R., Bob, or Junior, just don't call him Jeffrey. That was his father's name, Lord bless him.
