Demeanor: Quiet; polite, but with an underlying shrewdness masked by carefully-maintained professionalism. Self-conscious, and tends to meticulously measure every action. Politeness can sometimes be overshadowed by him favouring stark honesty, however, and it is not uncharacteristic for stubbornness to be provoked from him when challenged.

Nature: Naturally secretive and not unaccustomed to lying through his teeth, though more often than not for good reason rather than malicious intent. Kindhearted and highly empathetic, in reality. Headstrong in his beliefs, his ultimate goals serve to benefit other people; he views any benefit to himself as a 'pleasant byproduct of his intentions'.

Description: Standing at 5'5", an initial assessment of his appearance may lead one to conclude he’s much younger than he is- his short-cropped chestnut hair falls about in messy tangles, any indication of his actual age only given by the slight dusting of grey present; his face still bears hints of the delicate shapeliness associated with youth; and his general frame can be described as ‘lanky’ or ‘spindly’, despite his shorter height. Large hazel eyes that are perpetually set just a little too wide-open give him a constant look of mild alarm.
He tends to dress simply- dress shirts and slacks being the preferred style. Suspenders are also not uncommon, though only with a jacket to accompany the outfit.

Jack specialises in traumatic injuries more than anything — keeping a cool head under pressure, urgent care will always be carried out to the best of his ability. +4 to MED when treating extensive injury, i.e direct heavy physical trauma (decided by GM fiat), or when a players health score is at 3 or below. MED + spec bonus is rolled against a DC of 9 to pass; otherwise, healing factor will be halved.
  • Vital Point: 4. Years of poring over medical textbooks and anatomical charts tends to make one rather knowledgeable of the human body and, arguably, this knowledge can be extended to humanoid anomalies as well. While not much of a fighter himself, he can in fact bring to attention the weak spots in his foes to other teammates, allowing for them to attack in his stead. +4 to PERC when assessing a human(oid) for any vital weaknesses. This goes against a DC of 7 for humans, and a DC of 9 for anomalous humanoids. If successful, the information gathered can be used to serve other player characters, allowing for a +2 to MEL and RNG for one round of those informed.

Personal History:

Jack Gibson was born in 1920 to a family that, having since emigrated from Britain, thrived in its medical practices.

He was not born with this forename- it was an identity he later took on, with which he built his own medical career; he no longer knows, nor is he known by, any other identity.

His enthusiasm for the medical practices started young, unsurprisingly; his father was an idol, and oftentimes he would spend the hours poring over medical textbooks and discarded files. His father, in fact, encouraged this-
