Personal History:

Born in Richmond, Virginia in 1933, Eric Williams grew up with World War 2. Upon reaching 12 years old, his father returned from fighting with the 1st Infantry in Europe. Eric was always pained by his father's post-traumatic stress disorder, which affected him almost daily. Adding to this, Eric was trained in the art of firearms by his father. He is, in his own words, "an okay shot, but not great". Eric took up Anthropology in High School, creating himself a reputation of studying hard and getting amazing grades. All to impress his parents due to an early case of paranoia, which convinced him that they were not proud of him. The mixture of paranoia and his focus on grades resulted in him contracting insomnia, which affects him to this day. At the end of high school, he was given a scholarship to Harvard, where he studied Anthropology endlessly whilst studying a small portion of astronomy. In late 1955 he graduated with amazing marks, missing valedictorian by a small technicality. He then got a position in a research expedition to Africa to study ancient civilization, and then began wearing glasses. In late 1957 his work caught the attention of a Foundation, one job offer with a great payoff in beautiful Italy. He gladly accepted.
