Dr Leon Smythe

Player: Topdjc

Position: Expert in the Laws of Magic

Demeanor: Friendly. Harmless. Perhaps ever so slightly nerdy.

Nature: Passionate about defining the world within explainable parameters. Desperate to figure out the individual laws that anomalies adhere to. But also rather cold and some would say heartless. Leon is willing to go to any lengths to achieve his goals, and views other people as tools. He displays a friendly exterior as a method of manipulation, and builds relationships with people he might find useful. He doesn't care about them whatsoever though. Part of Leon's colder nature is obvious to any who have seen him in a combat scenario. He fights without anything resembling honour, remorse, or hesitation. He shoots to kill. The most permanent form of incapacitate.

Description: A rather unimposing figure. 5'3'' tall, medium build. Black hair, bright blue eyes. Wears glasses with false lenses. He doesn't actually need glasses. Wears a shirt and tie underneath a lab coat. Carries a satchel.

Specialties

You have eight points to distribute among as many or as few specialty skills as you see fit (but at least three is almost always warranted). Remember to explain what each specialty entails.

  • Specialty One: Lateral Thinking 4. Leon has dedicated his life to the understanding of the universe. Most of his studies focused on the laws which govern the world, and their exceptions. As such, Leon has a lot of practice with inferring the laws of anomalous behaviour with minimal evidence. He can roll Logic+this specialty's rank to make a guess as to what prerequisites an anomaly must adhere to before enacting anomalous behaviour. It is up to the GM whether or not the roll succeeds, and indeed whether or not it can be made in the first place.
