Cin Medesco

Basic Info:

Player: VP

Character Name Cin Medesco

Position: Enhanced Mobility and Biological Technologies R&D

Demeanor: Tries to be cheerful, and look on the bright side of things, though won’t let that stop her from looking at things logically.

Nature: Tends to be more quiet by herself, and highly prefers keeping her secrets to herself, good for keeping Foundation info, bad when she hides info even from the Foundation. She’s a nerd inside and a bit of a workaholic to boot, machines and chemicals are easier to handle than people after all.

Description: Cin is on the tall side, roughly just over six feet and is rather thin. She’s got brown eyes and more or less straight black hair going a bit past the shoulders, and is rather pale. She typically either wears a simple white shirt and pants with a labcoat, or outside of that, can be found wearing a green vaguely military looking uniform, though there are no markings that can be associated with known militaries.

  • Specialty Homemade Firepower: 3. If Cin knows how to use a weapon, then it’s gonna be one made by her own hands. No one knows how it works, how to use it better than her after all, and she knows all the little tricks to get the most out of her creations. (+3 when using a weapon Cin created personally for combat purposes)
  • Specialty Anomalous Technology: 5. Having spent a fair bit of time working with Prometheus Labs, Cin’s gotten pretty good in her fields of anomalous work. It does mean half the stuff she does no one will understand how it works other than her, and that it might need to be contained, but hey, that’s the risk you just have to take sometimes. Least if the Foundation takes away her tools she can still figure out how what they do give her works. (+5 when it comes to crafting biotech or mechanical anomalous things, and to figuring out the workings of anomalous objects of such natures)
  • Specialty Stitching Expert: 4. In some of the more…biological experiments, it was just as important to know what tube connected wear, which organ fits here, as it was to know that cord A plugs into port 5, and that you should not cut the red wire. Once you get over the screaming and the blood, it’s not that all different from working on an oily squeaky machine. (+4 to working with biotech, as well as any situations in which knowledge of stitching fleshy things could be useful)

  • M1911 Pistol
  • Various chemical samples
  • Prototype Mechanical Assistant Device (Right arm section only, appears to be a rather bulky boxish device that fits over the arm…doesn't actually help all that much with anything, and is kinda heavy. Makes a great paperweight.)

  • Various hastily messily written documentation and notes
  • Spare labcoats
  • Various potentially mildly anomalous parts (That belt loop just keeps spinning and spinning doesn't it)

Personal History:

Cin started out living a fairly average life, lived in a mildly wealthy home, went to school, got a good education, got pulled into working for an anomalous company, the standard. It was an offer she couldn’t refuse really, she would get top of the line labs to work in, research materials into things she never thought possible, all in all quite the amazing opportunity. Just crank out something of interest once in awhile to keep the funding, and don’t rip a hole in the fabric of space and time. No need to make the janitors clean up more than they have to, they work hard enough as is. After making quite a bit of headway though into one of her next big projects though, Cin eventually was forced to confront a bit more of the true nature of her employers, Prometheus Labs. For all the good that could come out of this research, it soon became rather clear that the primary concern was not doing good or such, simply profits. Who cares about safety or what this stuff is gonna be used for, long as a paycheck falls into the right hands. The intensity that some of the higher ups were starting to look at her work with was also rather unsettling, especially when the occasional note about perhaps trying to give those exosuit thingamajiggers a bit more armor there, and that prototype work with biotech lifeforms sure looked interesting…

Soon enough Cin decided that this was the last straw. If she’s going to be making weapons, she’s gonna make them for someone who can use them well, not for whoever has the highest bid. All Prometheus was left with was a perfectly clean workstation. Not a trace of the work that Cin had done, all gone, with Cin herself taking what she could and trying to hunt down an organization she knew…an old business partner of the Labs, one that was actually concerned about keeping the dangers that the labs would toss around in safe lockup.

Since Cin seems to be spending her time preparing to build things, might as well list some of what she's collected. It'll all be on a google docs to help with bookkeeping and to prevent needing to edit this sheet too often, access rights are currently anyone with the link can comment.
