Specialty Skills:

  • Huntsman: 4. As a child Albert went hunting with his father. While he couldn't actively stalk prey, he learned how to wait for a shot and line it up properly, notice the little things in the woods that would indicate where it frequented.
  • Adviser: 5. Albert has learned how to guide others through speech, he knows how to listen and to lead. He is more adept at reassuring others in times of crisis, and avoiding provocation.
  • Papermancy (Anomalous): 3. Albert is capable of manipulating and controlling paper, manifesting it from nothing, and even merging it into his skin. However, as a consequence Albert's skin is very thin and dry, he must take efforts to keep it moisturized and avoid direct contact with sunlight or else he risks tearing and burning it. This manipulation can go so far as to reorganize the ink on a page. While he is actively manipulating paper he is even more fragile.

Personal History:

Albert was born in Louisiana, March 6th 1910, to a very strict religious family. He was a little over a month early with weakened lungs. An injury to his right leg when he was two hindered development and permanently weakened it for the rest of his life, resulting in the need to wear a leg brace. When he was seven, Albert fell ill once more. His condition deteriorated rapidly until at the peak of his illness all of the files in the room exploded into clouds of confetti. He recovered shortly after, although he was noticeably weaker afterwards.
Albert became conscious of his power the next summer. When he showed his parents they called him a demon and sent him to an all boys Catholic boarding school. Whenever he was allowed home on a break his father took him hunting in an effort to normalize the child. Albert continued this line of private education into his adult life. Albert decided to dedicate his life to the church, feeling closer to it than his own family due to the amount of time he spent estranged. A few years after becoming a pastor the Foundation approached him, aware of his anomaly, and offered him a job as a chaplain and a counselor.
