Personal History:

Adrienne Wilkons was born in New York City in 1934 to a single mother who died during childbirth. Adie was taken in by a local restaurant owner named George, who found her in the alley next to his restaurant shortly after the birth. George was married to his wife, Annette, and together they raised Adie as their own. Adie grew very, very attached to them when she found out how they became a family.

In 1939, Adie started her first bout of schooling and made friends quickly. She maintained good grades and made her way to the top of her class until 1944, when she discovered theater. She fell in love immediately and began shirking her school work in favor of drama. She learned how to sneak past security at local stage shows in order to see them, as she was unable to buy tickets. She got very good very quickly, never once getting caught.

Throughout the rest of her schooling until 1952, Adie maintained the minimum to graduate as she focused on drama instead. When she did graduate, she immediately set out to become an actress. She was semi-successful for a while, landing several leading roles in off-broadway and smaller-theater shows. Her career continued until 1958, when she was humiliated onstage during an off-broadway show thanks to a wardrobe malfunction. This led to her being unable to pay bills and support herself, and she turned to petty theft as a last resort. The Foundation caught wind of her incredible stealth skills and hired her in 1959.
